Mall, as part of his Jobs for Iowa tour. Free and open to the

• FOREST CITY — Dean Bakopoulos will read from his book, “Please
Don’t Come Back from the Moon,” at 6 p.m. in the Waldorf Art
Gallery in the Campus Center as part of the Distinguished Visiting
Writers Series at Waldorf. There will be a question-and-answer
session and book signing. Free and open to the public.
• MASON CITY — Auditions for Mason City Community Theatre’s
production of “Same Time, Next Year” will be 7 to 8 p.m. at the
theater. Production dates are April 7-17.
• MASON CITY — Gov. Terry Branstad will speak at 1 p.m. in the
First Citizens National Bank’s Heritage Room, 2601 Fourth St. S.W.,
as part of his Jobs for Iowa tour. The event is free and open to
the public.
• OSAGE — Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Bill Northey will be at
the Osage Cooperative, 216 N. Mechanic St., at 2:30 p.m. The
meeting is open to the public.
