DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A Craigslist deal ended with a robbery and chase in Dayton.

Police reports indicate that Christopher Harvey and Devin Ward listed two engines for sale on Craigslist.

The pair reportedly pulled guns and stole $2,000.00 when the buyer showed up to make the purchase.

The incident started at Gettysburg and Preston avenues, then the victim followed the suspects through the streets of Dayton talking to a 911 dispatcher at the same time.

Dayton Police eventually caught up with Ward and Harvey.

Officers found two guns and the cash.

The pair now face several charges including assault and aggravated robbery.
