Geophysics firm exec selling 4BD in University Place

Matthew Verghese and his wife, Leslie, have listed for sale a four-bedroom, three-bath home at 3322 Plumb St. in West University Place for $1.295 million.

The 4,705-square-foot house was built in 1988. Gayle Pitts of Greenwood King Properties is the listing agent for the home.

Mr. Verghese is a senior vice president and chief financial officer at Global Geophysical Services, a company providing geophysical data. He previously served with Lehman Brothers as a senior vice president and was a partner at Anderson Business Consulting.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Houston.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 204 home sales in West University Place during the past 12 months.
