The HTC Desire 2 has made an appearance, well it’s been mentioned, in Vodafone Germany’s inventory system – leading to more speculation that it could be due an official announcement at Mobile World Congress 2011 (MWC).
There have been various blurry pics, including the not-so-blurry one above posted by Engadget, via Mobile01, doing the rounds of a possible new HTC headline device; although it lacks an official title, it is going by the “Saga” codename.
The phone is, however, seriously lacking in any concrete specs, although we’d hope that the Android Gingerbread OS and at least a 1.2GHz CPU would be the minimum. There is also talk of a front facing camera.
Another phone mentioned in the Vodafone list, that we know a little bit more about, is the super-powerful dual-core, 4.3-inch HTC Pyramid, which is supposed to be launching on T-Mobile in the US in Q2 – you never know, we could get a demo of it a MWC 2011.
Plenty of phones to get excited about then, and we’ll be sure to bring you all the info as and when, so stay tuned to Pocket-lint.
