Welcome to another week of school, work – and daily guides to what’s happening in Three Village. On Monday, your options include a civic association meeting, swim registration, dance club, homework help, and a few more events you can find listed in our event calendar.
1. The Civic Association of the Setaukets and Stony Brook meets on the first Monday of every month at 7:30 p.m. One of the topics tonight will be Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s proposed tax cap and its potential effects on the Three Village Central School District.
2. Swimmers, on your mark. Registration for spring swimming in Three Village will start at 6 p.m. Monday at Ward Melville High School.
3. If you like to dance, grab your shoes and head over to the Setauket Neighborhood House at 7 p.m. for the Stony Brook Dance Club.
4. Each Monday at 3:45 p.m., the Town of Brookhaven offers a homework help session for students in kindergarten through sixth grade. For more information, call 631-698-3254.
5. Coming up later on Three Village Patch: a breakdown of how much state aid the Three Village school district and Stony Brook University stand to lose in Cuomo’s proposed budget, and the story of two past Ward Melville lacrosse greats who recently stepped back into the spotlight. Stay tuned.
