Kutcher puts bachelor pad up for sale

Ashton Kutcher is finally leaving his single days behind him by putting his luxury LA bachelor pad up for sale. Six years after meeting Demi Moore and embracing married life, the one-time party boy is finally putting his past to bed.

The Hollywood Hills house has been listed for sale by the 32-year-old actor at an asking price of a whopping $2.6 million. According to the listing, the pad was extended to 3,235 sq ft from an original size of 2,002 sq ft.

The home boasts a modern design with two stories of open-plan living areas, four bedrooms and five bathrooms. The house also has hard wood floors throughout and wood trim and beams made from Brazilian cherry, mahogany and redwoods.

There is also a custom-built kitchen with all the mod-cons, leading out into an outside area with two infinity pools and a waterfall. There are also extensive grounds and the all-important landscape garden stretching for nearly an acre.

Other unique features of the former party house is a temperature-controlled wine cooler and a wine tower room which holds hundreds of bottles. A professional movie room complete with lazy-boy chairs and a huge projection screen is also said to be a unique selling point of the house.

Kutcher bought the Beverly Hills pad for $1 million in 2004 after rising quickly to fame following his role in That 70s Show as Michael Kelso. The property was then remodelled from the ground up by the star and his father Larry.
