A Sakhee’s Secret colt who was knocked down for26,000gns to John Walsh at the Tattersalls December Sale is the dearest yearling to pass through the ring, selling to Dermot Farrington for 9,500gns.
Out of the unraced mare Fudge, he is a half-brother to five winners including theGroup 3-placed Gloved Hand.
Eight of the 12 yearlings offered are listed as sold although they won’t have provided their vendors with much cheer – between them they averaged 2,525gns. Four failed to attract a bid.
