Mr. Calder is the franchise owner and president of West Houston’s Fibrenew, a leather and vinyl repair company. He previously served as a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch, a manager at Torch Energy and a manager for business development at Astra Resources.

He received his B.S. in geology from Florida State University in 1979 and his M.B.A. from the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University in 1988.
