Pictures: Ray White Surfers Paradise The Event

THE hammer did not fall on any of the 11 boats listed for sale under Ray White Marine’s auction this afternoon.

Although more than 100 people turned out for the event in Main Beach, few of them were bidders and the agents were unable to secure sales then and there.

But the 12m Riviera M370 sports cruiser (pictured above) was sold for $210,000 to a buyer just minutes after the auction finished.

Ray White Marine agents are also hoping to negotiate the sale of five other boats, which have strong interest from buyers.

The company’s sales and marketing manager Mark Ali said the combined value of the five boats was $5 million.
