Norwich – The latest upgrades to the city’s website include a banner heading to warn of emergencies or office closings and the return of a community calendar listing for outside groups.

Organizations wishing to have events listed on the calendar should contact the mayor’s office by mail at 100 Broadway, Norwich, CT 06360 or by e-mail at mayorsoffice@cityofnorwich.org. All listings should include the organization name, date, time and location of the event, admission fee and reservation information and a contact person.

The website also now includes a translation service to convert the text into one of numerous languages.
