January Movies: “Winter Bones,” today, 12:30 p.m.
Tax Assistance, appointmennts will be held from Feb. 5 to April 15, 9 a.m. to noon, weekdays. Call 527-6151 to sign up.
Ballroom dance lessons, every Tuesday. Beginners, 6 to 7 p.m., intermediate, 7 to 8 p.m., advanced, 8 to 9 p.m. $5 per person, per class.

The Easthampton Friends Travel Club is booking the following trips: Sweetheart Party in Atlantic City, Feb. 21 to 23, $195. Philadelphia Flower Show, March 6 to $215.
Fitness Center, for Easthampton residents 55 and and up. Cycles, treadmills, elliptical, strength training equipment. Cost $50 per year. Orientation and completed medical forms are necessary prior to use.
SHINE program provides assistance with health insurance issues, drug coverage and more. By appointment only.
Outreach program available to Easthampton residents only. Providing information/referral services on a wide varitey of issues. Both office and in-home visits available.
The Council on Aging van is easy access and is equipped with a wheel chair lift. Van service is available to seniors for appointments, and is used for local or out of town special trips listed in the newsletter. Reservations 48 hours in advance.
Notary service is available for residents 60 and over, in office and home visits possible. By appointment only donations toward services appreciated.
The Enrichment Center is looking for volunteers for the reception desk on Thursday afternoons, kitchen assistance on Tuesdays for two hours, members for the Friends group, and volunteers to help water plants in the Memory Gardens during the summer. Call the Center for information about these positions.
SOUTHAMPTON
NOTE: The Southampton Council on Aging has not moved yet; it is open on a limited basis until further notice. It is still located at 30 East St.; the move may not occur until mid-February. There will be no computer classes until further notice. The osteoporosis exercise class on Tuesdays will still take place at the Library/Senior Center at 30 East St. The Wednesday yoga class will also be at the Library/Senior Center. COA transportation services are still being provided. For more information call 529-2105.

The Southampton COA wheelchair lift van is available Monday through Friday to transport Southampton seniors age 60 and over to medical appointments, other important appointments and shopping. Approval is needed prior to first using the van. Approval may take up to two weeks.
Volunteers and paid workers are willing to provide services such as yard work, housework, snow shoveling, companionship and small repairs for Southampton seniors.
WESTHAMPTON
The Westhampton Council on Aging welcomes all seniors 60 years old and over to the monthly noon luncheons held the first Thursday of every month at the Westhampton Congregational Church on Tob Road. Musical entertainment or guest speakers follows. Arrive early to have blood pressure checks and to sign cards. Bring a nonperishable food donation for the Easthampton Community Center Food Cupboard.
The next luncheon will be Feb. 3.
