A great opportunity to work for a leading health charity. The post holder will act as a first point of contact with suppliers, charity shops, customers, contracted fulfilment houses and internal stakeholders in dealing with queries relating to Trading products. In consultation with the Commercial Manager, you’ll act as contact for the charity’s Cause Related Marketing partners; maintaining knowledge of our partners and their operations to ensure the successful development of each relationship, as well as ensuring that all Trading Projects and Commercial Partnerships are ethical, legal and appropriate for the charity’s brand, image and reputation. You’ll manage the administration of the charity’s account with the fulfilment house ensuring products are correctly coded, delivery scheduled, priced and listed, as well as monitoring stock levels. You’ll also research new business opportunities, including the presentation of product ideas and samples, developing new business projects under the supervision of the Commercial Manager. You’ll have proven commercial awareness and acumen, with an understanding of mail order business or the retail industry, and knowledge of budget monitoring. Negotiating, communication and interpersonal skills are a must, as is the ability to manage a workload and use initiative to find practical solutions to operational problems. You’ll be comfortable multi-tasking and working to deadlines, with effective time and project management acumen. You’ll also need good IT skills, including Word, Outlook, Power point, Excel and Photoshop.
