HARRIERS boss Steve Burr is set to shuffle his small squad for tonight’s Blue Square Bet Premier clash at Forest Green Rovers but the future of transfer-listed top scorer Chris McPhee is unclear.

McPhee has been attracting interest from Hereford and Grimsby since the Aggborough outfit put him up for sale.

It could be that tonight’s game at the New Lawn ground will be his last as the cash-strapped club desperately fight to stave off administration by finding much-needed funds to pay-off creditors.

However, Burr is set to change around the starting line-up as Harriers’ small squad feels the strain of a busy January.

Burr believes his troops will be a tough test, like Saturday’s hard fought win over Barrow.

He said: “From our point of view, we’ve had to look at it and we’re probably going to change one or two things.

“At Forest Green we will probably be utilising more of the squad.

“The lads have been playing a lot of football of late and this is definitely a squad game and there are those who could do with a breather.

“We had Forest Green watched on Saturday and we know it’s going to be a very tough game.

“We can’t stress how important it is to stay in touching distance with where we are in the table because we still have an outside chance.”

Forest Green will be without the injured Bradley Gray tonight while Harriers defender Tom Sharpe has yet to recover fully from a knock sustained in the defeat at Barrow a fortnight ago.

Shuttle Online will have live match updates from tonight’s Conference tussle (7.45pm
kick-off).
