Anacheeva resumes in Zeditave Stakes
Last years Caulfield Guineas winner ‘Anacheeva’ will start his summer campaign tomorrow in the listed Zeditave Stakes at Caulfield racecourse.
Peter Moody trained Anabaa colt ‘Anacheeva’ will be looking to increase his Stud potential during summer with his aim being on the Newmarket Handicap in March. Anacheeva has won 4 of his 6 starts including the Group 1 Caulfield Guineas, Group 3 Guineas Prelude and the listed Mckenzie Stakes and hopes to add a Zeditave Stakes win to his ever growing list of achievements where it looks he will start as the 2nd favourite behind Eclair Mystic whom beat him on debut.

In one of the strongest Zedative Stakes in recent years, Robert Smerdon trained Eclair Mystic has opened favourite after running 3rd last start behind Ahdashim in the Group 3 Standish Handicap where he saw heavy support to win the race after 4 consecutive wins.
The unknown runner of the race is upcoming WA star ‘Mister Moneypenny’ trained by Shane Edwards who has opted to transport the son of Special Bond to Melbourne for the summer carnival. Bookmakers are taking no risks with the runner who won with ease a fortnight ago at Ascot albeit against inferior opposition and he is likely to find plenty of support from the West.
