Bruce Dement has listed for sale a five-bedroom, 4.5-bath home at 13540 Mccarthy Road in Lemont for $1.799 million.

The 6,500-square-foot home in Greater Ruffled Feathers was built in 1995. Ann Pancotto of Coldwell Banker Residential is the listing agent.

Dement is the CEO of Kastalon, Inc., an Alsip-based custom manufacturer of polyurethane and urethane products. He is currently an adjunct professor at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is also chairman of the board of governors of the Chicago Learning Center at the Children’s Dyslexia Center in Chicago.

He has a B.S. degree in industrial management from the University of Akron.

Dement also owns the home at 13598 Mccarthy Road in Lemont. He paid $260,000 for the property in July 2000.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 127 home sales in Lemont during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $335,000.
