PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Bryant McFadden is listed as questionable for Sunday’s AFC Championship game against the New York Jets with an abdomen injury.
The injury, suffered in last week’s victory over Baltimore, kept him off the practice field Wednesday and Thursday before he was able to practice fully on Friday. The six-year veteran started all 16 regular season games and compiled 81 tackles and a pair of interceptions.
Safety Will Allen is also listed as questionable due to a knee injury. He sat out the first two practices of the week before returning on a limited basis on Friday. He recorded 12 tackles during the regular season.
Star safety Troy Polamalu is listed as probable for the contest despite an Achilles injury that kept him out of a regular season meeting with the Jets in Week 15. He was on the field for practice only once during the week in preparation for the rematch.
Defensive end Aaron Smith, who has not played since a Week 7 win over Miami because of a triceps injury, is listed as doubtful for the game.
