The first Windows Phone 7 smartphone with a slide out keyboard, the HTC 7 Pro, has been listed on online UK retailer Expansys with a retail price of £459.99 SIM Free.
As announced before, the handset will go on sale in February, on the 11th and will have a very attractive slide and tilt screen with a dedicated QWERTY keyboard with raised keys and a larger than average space bar and enter button.
Unfortunately, the phone still suffers from a few issues like the lack of multi-tasking capability, a small but growing App store, no copy and paste and no memory card reader.
The HTC 7 Pro comes with a 1GHz processor from Qualcomm, a 3.6-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen with pinch-to-zoom capability and weighs 185g. It is thicker than average due mainly to the additional physical keyboard and a bigger than average 1500mAh battery.
Other features include GPS, Bing Maps, SRS surround, Bluetooth, 576MB RAM, 8.5GB onboard storage, four sensors, HTC’s own Hub, a 5-megapixel camera with AF and flash with the ability to record in HD.
