ARIZONA CITY, Ariz. – A 10-year-old boy is listed in fair condition after being mauled by three dogs Thursday afternoon.
The attack took place in Arizona City south of Phoenix. Jason Hamilton was reportedly walking home from school after getting off the school bus with his little brother when he was attacked.
The boy was flown to a Phoenix hospital with dog bites to his face, neck, body and legs.
The owner of the dogs reportedly gave up all three of the pets. They are now in mandatory quarantine until it can be determined if they have rabies.
One or all three of the dogs could be put to sleep and the owner may be cited after 10 days. The dogs’ owner told law enforcement she has never seen any vicious activity from the dogs in the past.
