Minot State University’s Northwest Art Center Lecture Series: MSU professor Shirley Cole-Harding will talk about “The Evolution of Cooperation,” 7 p.m., Aleshire Theater, Hartnett Hall. She will discuss the basics of evolutionary psychology and the difficulties evolutionary psychologists have with understanding altruism and cooperation. She works in the Addiction Studies, Psychology and Social Work Department at MSU. The lecture is free and open to the public. A question and answer period and reception will follow. Parking on the campus is unrestricted after 5 p.m.
