Artist lists 3BR Evanston condo

Bonnie Donaghy and James Donaghy have listed for sale a three-bedroom, two-bath condo at 1720 Maple Ave. in Evanston for $530,000.

The Donaghys paid $520,000 for the property in April 2007. The 1,815-square-foot condo, Unit #650, is one of the units in the Optima Views condo development, which was built in 2004 in Downtown Evanston. Michael Marin of Signature Homes Realty is the listing agent.

Ms. Donaghy is an artist and the owner of Bad Beagle Art in Chicago. Previously, she worked in visual merchandising at Escada, Marshall Fields and Saks Fifth Avenue.

She studied painting at the School of the Art Institute in Chicago.

The Donaghys previously sold their homes at 1527 Lee St. in Evanston and at 931 Wesley Ave. in Evanston for $180,500 in June 1999 and $537,500 in April 2007, respectively.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 323 condo sales in Evanston during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $242,750.
