LORAIN COUNTY — Two Lorain men are listed on the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force’s Dangerous Dozen list for January.

Luis Leiva, 48, of Lorain, is wanted on assault, burglary and domestic violence charges.

The task force is also searching for Paul Brewer, 51, of Lorain, for contempt of court on original charges of assault and possession of cocaine, according to the list. Brewer has a violent criminal history and is a registered sex offender, the list states. He is considered armed and dangerous

An Elyria man, who is also listed, turned himself in to Lorain County Sheriff’s deputies yesterday.

Vincent Smith, 35, was wanted for failing to register as a sex offender and for contempt of court stemming from an assault charge. Lorain County Sheriff’s Sgt. Donald Barker said Smith turned himself at the Lorain County jail yesterday and is currently being held without bond.

Cash rewards are being offered for information leading to the arrest of Brewer and Leiva. Anyone with any information is encouraged to contact (866) 4WANTED or their local police department. Tips can be left anonymously.
