(NECN/CNN) On a site better known for products such as movies and books, Amazon.com users found surgical items used for gastric bypass surgery.
Listed under its medical supplies category, the kit included a syringe, scalpel and more all for $264. Some doctors worried it could get in the wrong hands and be deadly. Amazon.com has now pulled the listing off its website.
A representative from the listed seller, Medplus, Inc., based in NJ, said the kit is meant to be used in a medical facility.
