Glier, along with Vicki J. Woodward, paid $1.93 million for the property in Oct. 1999. The 5,700-square-foot house was built in 1993 in Winnetka Golf Club. It is located in the Hubbard Woods subdivision. Blanche Romey of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage is the listing agent for the home.

Glier is president and chief executive officer at Grenzebach Glier Associates, an international consultant to philathropic organizations. Prior to that, he was the administrative director at the Institute for Psychoanalysis.

He received his B.A.in English from Providence College and his M.A. in comparative literature from the University of Chicago. He also attended the Universite de Fribourg in Switzerland, where he was a Fulbright fellow.
