Despite being included in the AmaZulu team that played Golden Arrows on Sunday, midfielder Thamsanqa Sangweni is still on Usuthu’s transfer list.

Sangweni was put on transfer together with six other players, but made a surprise appearance yesterday in an unfamiliar position as central defender for Usuthu.
 
Another notable figure on the AmaZulu bench was Nigerian defender Pere Ariweriya,i who was also put on transfer last week.
 
Speaking to KickOff.com, Usuthu spokesperson Philani Mabaso said only Nhlanhla Zwane has received an offer from Thanda Royal Zulu, but the remainder of the players ‘are still on sale’.
 
“They [Pere and Sangweni] are still on the transfer list and if the right offer comes for one of them we will consider it. It is the same with other players who are training with us but are still on the transfer list. The same thing applies to Myron Shongwe, who should have been here today but has been called up to Amabinneplaas.”
 
Ariweriyai says he is happy about Usuthu’s decision to put him on transfer and is ready to move on with his career elsewhere.
 
“They told me that there are teams interested in my services and wanted to hear my opinion. I was surprised later to learn that I am on the transfer list.”
