 Terryville Library Board of Directors. Regular monthly meeting, with public participation. 6:30 p.m., Terryville Public Library, 238 Main St., Terryville.

 “Making the Future More Secure for Your Dependent with Special Needs.” Anthony Recck, from MetLife’s Division of Estate Planning for Special Kids, will offer tips for parents and caregivers on how to plan for the future of dependents with special needs. 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., Terryville Public Library, 238 Main St., Terryville.

Former state Rep. Bill Hamzy and former state Sen. Jonathan Harris are speakers for the Main Street Community Foundation’s program for non-profit organizations.
