Charlie Swan is looking for solid performances from Lonesome Dove and Stephanie Kate in the Tote Pick Six Mares Novice Hurdle at Fairyhouse on Sunday.
Both have opened their maiden hurdle accounts this term and are now tackling stronger company, with the County Tipperary trainer believing the pair are on the upgrade and deserving of a chance in Listed class.
Swan said: “They are both in good form and we are trying to see if we can get a bit of black type for them. They both seem to be improving. They worked well during the week so hopefully they will run well.”
