Minot Area Chamber of Commerce’s Saturday Legislative Forum: 9 to 11 a.m., Minot Municipal Auditorium’s Room 201. The forum is open to the public and gives people a chance to ask legislators about pending legislation and discuss legislative issues.

Kidzquest Exercise and Quickstart Tennis will begin again at the Cameron Indoor Tennis Center: Starting Saturday. These classes are run by the city of Minot Recreation Department. Call 839-1900 for class times and more information.
Our Redeemer’s Christian School in Minot opens registration for Preschool for the 2011-2010 school year. There are two morning sessions: one on Mondays and Wednesdays and one on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 8:50 to 11 a.m. There is also an afternoon class on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:40 to 2:50 p.m. Call the school at 839-0772 to enroll or for more information.
Annual meeting of the Swedish Heritage Society Northwest North Dakota, Minot: 2 p.m., Scandinavian Heritage Center, lower level, 1020 S. Broadway. Debi Nelson of Trinity Hospital, Minot, will speak about “Medical Identity Fraud.” The meeting is open to the public and refreshments will be served.
The Mouse River Players Community Theatre will present the romantic comedy “Same Time Next Year”: Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m., Arlene Saugstad Theater, 115-1st St. SE. Minot State University and the Minot Area Council of the Arts are sponsoring a concert by the Doug Talley Quartet, a Kansas City-based jazz ensemble: 7:30 p.m., MSU’s Ann Nicole Nelson Hall. The MSU Jazz Ensemble will join the quartet for a few songs. Admission is $10 per person at the door.
