Troop 642 load recycled Christmas trees during the Scout’s
Christmas tree recycling project on Jan. 8 at the Seaside Outlet
Mall. Community members contributed between 55 and 60 trees during
the two recycling campaigns on Jan. 2 and 8. This year’s project
raised more than $300. The annual recycling program is a
fundraising project for summer camp. This year, members will be
attending Camp Baldwin, a Boy Scout horse camp near Dufer.
