Melody Barker of Prudential Connecticut Realty in Farmington and Lucia Molinelli in Prudential’s Norwalk office, along with Richard Maiocco and John Cavaliere of William Raveis in Trumbull won $10,000 each at a recent drawing at Raveis headquarters in Shelton, part of the company’s statewide marketing campaign for Target 20K.
The 20K program is designed to foster cooperation among agents and increase property showings.
Agents who have listed and sold Target-20K homes are eligible to enter a drawing held after 50 houses in the program have been sold.
Average market time for homes in the program is 82 days, compared with 101 days for other listings.

Drew Peterson in the Greenwich office of Weichert Capital Properties and Estates has received the professional designation of Certified International Property Specialist. The CIPS designation is awarded by the National Association of Realtors, representing more than 1.2 million realtors in the U.S., and recognizing members who have achieved the necessary training and experience to work with international clients and properties. Some 1,600 agents worldwide have earned the CIPS designation.
Lou Galasso in the Old Greenwich office of William Raveis Real Estate earned the top selling associate award in October.
Dorothy Darlington in William Raveis’ Old Greenwich office was the top listing agent in October.
Deb Halsey in the Old Greenwich office of William Raveis was recognized for customer service for October.
Greenwich saw 431 single-family sales in the first nine months of 2010, compared with 245 a year ago, according to Bill Andruss of Sotheby’s International Realty in Greenwich. The median, or midpoint, price was up to $1.675 million, from $1.550 million, but the average price dipped to $2,425,351, from $2,541,797.
Condo sales were up to 102, from 62 in 2009, with the average price falling to $776,406, from $911,567, and the median sliding to $625,000, from $671,250.
For the third time this year Mike Tetreau and his team at William Raveis Real Estate in Southport earned the award for excellence in customer service, most recently for August. Other team members are Fern “Coach” Tetreau, Susan Tortora and Kathy Niznansky.
