• CHARLES CITY — A movie/gaming marathon will be 12:30 to 4:30
p.m. at The Hut, North Grand Plaza. Watch movies or bring games and
gaming system to play with others. Snack provided. Cost is $2 per
person. For grades 4 and up.

• MASON CITY — A free program, “Christmas Break at Lime Creek,”
will be 1 to 3 p.m. at the Lime Creek Nature Center. Children and
their parents may enjoy a snowshoe hike followed by an animal
tracks activity in the Nature Center. Call 641-423-5309 to
pre-register. 

• MEYER — Sacred Heart Oratory will have its live nativity and
Mass at 7:30 p.m., followed by refreshments in the church hall.
