MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Thursday that 251 out of 787 passed the Dentist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Dentistry in Manila this December.

The members of the Board of Dentistry are Dr. Daniel G. Feraro, chairman; Dr. Melinda L. Garcia, Dr. Gloria M. Bumanlag, Dr. Steve Mark G. Gan, and Dr. Rannier F. Reyes, members.

The results were released in three working days after the last day of examinations.

The successful examinees who garnered the 10 highest places are the following:

(1) Pia de la Cruz Briones, University of the Philippines-Manila, 85.12; (2) Jefalyn Mae Salomon Garcia, University of Baguio, 84.04; Leonida Pascua Garcia, University of the Philippines-Manila, 84.04; (3) Dindo Agustin Rabino, University of the Philippines-Manila, 83.67; (4) Ariane Torreres Sadiang-Abay, University of the Philippines-Manila, 83.33; (5) Ma Fatima Bernaldez Dolor, University of the Philippines-Manila, 83.24; (6) Andrianne Ang Gomez, University of the Philippines-Manila, 83.18; Joanna Bless Tago Yap, Cebu Doctors University, 83.18; (7) Katrina Pe Lo, University of the Philippines-Manila, 83.17; (8) Roxanne Dela Pierre Donato, University of the Philippines-Manila, 83.10; (9) Ulysses Catacutan Patalinghug, University of the Philippines-Manila, 82.84; (10) Reuel Cucio Beatriz, Adventist University of the Philippines, 82.65.

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on Monday, Jan. 3, 2011, but not later than Jan. 19, 2011.

Those who will register are required to bring the following: Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), two pieces passport- size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), one piece 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), two sets of metered documentary stamps, and one short brown envelope with name and profession; and to pay the initial registration fee of P600 and annual registration fee of P450 for 2011-2014. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the roster of registered professionals.
