ESPN has just reported that Adrian Peterson is inactive tonight and won’t play.

Peterson has been hobbled with an ankle and a knee injury all week, but this comes as a huge surprise.

Six inches of snow and a temperature of -1 degrees were probably the final determining factors in not playing Peterson tonight.

No need risking your franchise player when you’re already eliminated from the playoffs.

Of course, if Adrian Peterson is the RB1 on your fantasy football team, you probably just tossed your MacBook out the window.

For the Bears, the streak of good luck continues. Another primetime player in the division goes down with injury.
