Scam: A Kimberly Drive resident saw an iPad listed for sale on Craigslist, and made arrangements to meet the seller. The resident gave the seller some money, and took what appeared to be an unopened iPad box at 5:45 p.m. on Nov. 29. When the victim later opened the box, she found a bag of sand and toilet paper in the box.

Theft: A Dell Vostro computer and monitor were stolen from Allens Creek Road on Dec. 1 and 2.
