IRVING — Cowboys starting wide receiver Roy Williams did not practice Friday because of a groin injury and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Washington Redskins.

Williams has done some work in walkthroughs but hasn’t participated in practice the last two days. He declined comment when he walked about of the locker room on Friday afternoon.

Williams hasn’t missed any games this season due to injury but missed one game last year with a rib injury allowing Miles Austin to earn a start and catch 10 passes for 250 yards and two touchdowns in an overtime victory against Kansas City.

Interim coach Jason Garrett wouldn’t get into specifics on who would replace Williams in the starting lineup.

Currently, Austin and Williams are the starters but with rookie Dez Bryant out with a fractured leg, Sam Hurd and Manuel Johnson are the backups.

Starting running back Marion Barber (calf) was limited in practice and is also questionable. He’s missed the last two weeks and has been done some work this week in practice.

The Cowboys could give Barber another week to heal and stick with Felix Jones and Tashard Choice as the main backs vs. the Redskins.

“We just have to wait and see,” Garrett said of Barber. “He certainly had a better week this week than he did last week and he seems to be progressing and we’ll have to evaluate it as the time comes.”

Wide receiver Jesse Holley (knee) was limited in practice on Friday and is questionable for the game. Holley said he expects to play.

Martellus Bennett (flu), Keith Brooking (foot), Bradie James (knee), Terence Newman (flu) and Sean Lee (shoulder) were full participants in practice and are listed as probable.
