Two special events will accompany this weekend’s celebration marking the first-anniversary of the Lemont Park District’s CORE Fitness Aquatic Complex.

There will be a fee to participate in the events, park district officials confirmed.

In the story, Lemont’s ‘CORE’ hits one-year mark in today’s edition of the Lemont Reporter/Met, the 2nd Annual Frigid 5K and Breakfast with Santa are incorrectly listed under “free events.”

-The 2nd Annual Frigid 5K run, to begin at 8 a.m. Sunday on the Centennial Park campus, is $15 for runners, who will also recieve (1) free breakfast at the Breakfast with Santa event immediately following the race.

-Breakfast with Santa is $11 for a non-resident, $8 for a single resident, $42 for a family of four non-residents and $30 for a family of four residents. Each additional non-resident family member is $10, and each additional resident family member is $7.
