TAKE Solutions Ltd, leaders in Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Life Sciences products, announced today that its division, TAKE Supply Chain been selected by Food Logistics for the magazine’s annual FL100 list for the fourth consecutive year.
TAKE is being consistently recognized as a top technology solution provider based on the company’s track record of expertise in helping food, beverage and consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies gain competitive advantages through their supply chain and logistics processes. TAKE’s work in helping Welch’s, Sun Opta, Darigold, and Blue Bell was a direct result in the company’s selection in the 2010 FL 100. This year, the magazine focused the theme on bouncing back through tough economic times with technology.
“Despite the harsh environment, the past year has seen a number of food and beverage companies implementing technology solutions—especially transportation management and warehouse management systems—where they can see a quick ROI,” says Ms. Katherine Doherty, editor-in-chief of Food Logistics magazine. “Many of our FL100 recipients report that the food industry is still a strong vertical for them—in fact, it’s one of the few markets that they are actually seeing any growth.”
The FL100 annual listing provides a guide for decision-making for grocery and foodservice distribution and manufacturing executives. After receiving nomination forms from end users and solution providers, the editorial staff culled through more than 140 submissions to compile this year’s listing. Final recipients are featured in the November/December 2010 issue of Food Logistics, as well as online at www.foodlogistics.com.
“TAKE is honored to be acknowledged in the FL100 list for the fourth year in a row,” said Mr. Kishore Rachapudi, President and COO, TAKE Solutions. “This recognition from Food Logistics confirms our focus and commitment to delivering innovative solutions for CPG companies to successfully manage complex supply chain challenges, while remaining at a competitive advantage during both favorable and unfavorable economic conditions.”
