2009 Kawasaki 650 and 2001 Yamaha R6 Stolen

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Gwinnett police are asking for the public’s help in locating a motorcycle thief.

Reports said in November a victim was contacted in reference to a Craigslist advertisement he posted to sell a 2009 Kawasaki 650.

Reports said Gary Bernard Sirmans, 24, came to the house to look at the bike, but left without paying for it.

Police said on December 12, another victim reported that Sirmans was driven in a gold Jeep Cherokee to see a 2001 Yamaha R6 he had listed.

Again, Sirmans took the bike without paying, according to reports.

Gwinnett detectives issued warrants for Sirmans in these cases.

Sirmans is already wanted by DeKalb County Police for Theft By Taking Motor Vehicle.
