KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 1 (Bernama) — Financial management software solution (FMSS) provider, Century Software Holdings Bhd, has received approval from the Securities Commission to be listed on Bursa Malaysia’s Main Market.
In a statement on Wednesday, Century Software said it expected to be listed in the first quarter of next year, barring unforeseen circumstances.
Kenanga Investment Bank Bhd has been appointed as the Adviser, Managing Underwriter and Placement Agent for Century Software’s Initial Public Offering (IPO) exercise.
“Our forthcoming listing aims not only for us to raise funds for our future expansion but also to stamp our mark as one of the leading and innovative software players in Malaysia,” said deputy executive chairman Samsul Husin.
He said Century Software has a growing clientele in Malaysia, comprising more than 70 government agencies at the federal, state and local council levels.
“Towards this end, our extensive market penetration in the public sector over the last 10 years speaks volumes of our capability in providing FMSS that is of high and unparalleled standard for efficient government administration,” he added.
