PLN: No More Wait-Listed Customers After 2011

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:Jakarta-State-owned power company PLN promises that by March 2011, everyone wait-listed to have electricity connected to their homes or buildings will be served. The PLN target is made possible by additional electricity supplies from the first stage of the 10.000 MW acceleration program.

In his written statement yesterday, PLN Managing Director Dahlan Iskan said that he instructed PLN in all areas to focus on the waiting list.

PLN will push for the growth of new connections, especially for industry and commercial customers, he said.

As of September this year, around 1.5 million potential customers from all over Indonesia are recorded in the waiting list.
