The Minot chapter 1377 of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association will have its annual Christmas Party: 1 p.m., Parker Senior Center. Those attending are asked to bring baked treats and other items for the Second Story Social Club’s Christmas Party.
Minot Chamber Chorale’s 38th Annual Renaissance Christmas Feast: Thursday through Saturday, social at 6 p.m., dinner at 7 p.m., Holiday Inn-Riverside Coliseum. Reservations are required. Call 838-8709 for reservations or more information.
Minot Area Team Wellness is sponsoring “Walk Minot” winter walks: The first one will be Thursday, Dec. 2, at 6 p.m. in Oak Park. Those participating will walk through Sertoma’s “Christmas in the Park” in Oak Park. Walkers should meet at the Sertoma ticket booth in the park at 6 p.m. There will be no admission fee for walking participants. Five more Walk Minot events will be held: Town and Country Shopping Center at 10 a.m. Dec. 16 (inside); Minot Family YMCA Jan. 6 at 10 a.m. (inside); Roosevelt Park Zoo at 10 a.m. Jan. 22 (outside); Dakota Square Mall at 10 a.m. Feb. 10 (inside); and Minot State University Dome at 6 p.m. Feb. 24 (inside). Walkers do not need to register ahead of time and there is no fee to join. Each walk will last about an hour; will be informal, family-friendly and at an easy pace. Minot Area Team Wellness is a group concerned about the health and wellness of Minot’s citizens. Several organizations are part of the coalition. Call 857-6450 for more information.
The Minot State University Program of Broadcasting will host its 12th annual KMSU auction: 6:30 p.m., live on KMSU Channel 19. KMSU will promote local businesses through various media in exchange for donations. The goal is to raise funds for MSU broadcasting scholarships and equipment for the broadcasting program and to give 10 percent to 2nd Story Social Club in Minot, a non-profit club for adults with developmental disabilities.
