Minot State University’s Fall Brown Bag Book Talk: noon to 12:45 p.m., Gordon B. Olson Library’s lower level. People are encouraged to bring their lunch. The book talk is free and open to the public. People do not need to read the book in order to attend. Deb Jensen from the MSU Teacher Education Department will talk about the book “Why Don’t Students Like School?: A Cognitive Scientist Answers Questions About How the Mind Works and What It Means For Your Classroom,” by Daniel T. Willingham.
