MUHLENBERG COUNTY, KY – It’s Friday again in Hopkins County. This Friday is the ever-popular shopping day, called Black Friday.
With the holiday weekend, there aren’t a lot of public events going on in the region. Though we won’t have many events listed this weekend, it’s still a good time to have another wild weekend in The Berg with family and friends.
This weekend in and around Hopkins County:
Friday, November 26 in Greenville – On Friday and Saturday the Muhlenberg Ag and Convention Center will be holding a Mini Tractor Pull at 3 PM.
Friday, November 26 in Madisonville – Today marks the beginning of the final weekend of modern gun deer hunting season in Western Kentucky. If you haven’t gotten that big buck yet this year, you had better hit the woods running!
Saturday, November 27 in Madisonville- Hopkins County Humane Society holds fundraiser at Wal-Mart. The humane society will be selling homemade pet treats at Wal-Mart today. For more information phone 270-875-1666.
Saturday, November 27 in Madisonville – The Hopkins County Humane Society will be selling pet ornaments for your Christmas Tree from 9 AM – 2 PM at the Parkway Plaza Mall.
Sunday, November 28 in Slaughters – The Slaughters Baptist Church is hosting “His Praise,” a southern Gospel Quartet. This inspirational event will begin Sunday evening at 6:30. Everyone is invited.
