NEW ORLEANS —Running back Reggie Bush was listed as full on the Saints’ initial injury report for Thursday’s game against Dallas, the latest signal that he will likely see his first game action since breaking his right fibula on Sept. 20 against San Francisco.
Bush was limited heading into both the Carolina and Seattle game, but felt he was closest to playing in Sunday’s 34-19 win over the Seahawks.
The Saints didn’t practice Monday, but the report was put together as if the team had practiced. Full means 100 percent of the reps were taken during team 11-on-11 drills. Limited is less than 100 percent while Did Not Participate is zero reps in team, though the player could have gone through individual drills.
Defensive lineman Sedrick Ellis (quad), running back Ladell Betts (head/neck) and linebacker Stanley Arnoux (Achilles) came out of the Seattle game worse than they went in and were listed as DNPs.
Meanwhile, center Jonathan Goodwin (back), defensive tackle Anthony Hargrove (knee), running back Chris Ivory (shoulder/knee), safety Malcolm Jenkins (neck), safety Darren Sharper (hamstring), tight end Jeremy Shockey (ribs), running back Pierre Thomas (ankle) and safety Usama Young (calf) all were listed as limited.
Joining Bush as full were left tackle Jermon Bushrod (knee), defensive end Junior Galette (shoulder), cornerback Patrick Robinson (ankle) and right tackle Jon Stinchcomb (knee).
The team returns to practice Tuesday and will fly to Dallas after practicing Wednesday. The team plays Dallas on Thanksgiving Day at 3:15 p.m.
