LONDON City Airport has been named in the top 10 of a list of the most scenic runway approaches in the world.
Private jet booking company PrivateFly.com compiled the list and placed the Royal Docks facility in seventh place.
It was said to have a “highly scenic approach over world-famous London landmarks” as well as “amazing views” of The O2. The steep approach, which pilots have to be specially trained to work on, creates a “fairground ride-like buzz”.
The list featured one other UK airport, Barra Airport in the Outer Hebrides, in the list and placed Sion Airport in Switzerland at the top.

I love these no stories just to give the airport some good PR. The 2 reports put out about the this business the week of the Judicial Review is no coincidence. Lets ask some questions!
1. Why is the report about the 12 billion that LCA claim to bring in not available till net year?
2. London Heathrows view is similar to LCA but the week of the JR LCA it is in the top 10.Look at all this and you can see the spin of the PR machine from the airport working over time.
Hopefully justice will win and London City Airports and LB Newhams approval for expansion will be over turned….
