Ledger was paying about $25,000 a month when he rented the lower Manhattan apartment. The Dark Knight posthumous Oscar winner died there in early 2008 from an accidental overdose of prescription medicine.
The three bedroom, 4,400-square-foot residence has since been completely renovated, and is one of the few available in the 1920s cast iron loft building, where prices range from $3.9 million for a modest apartment to $20 million for the penthouse.
