The Hooterville Flion Lions Club will conduct its annual “Kamping for Kans” Food Drive: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Miracle Mart, Dakota Square Mall. All nonperishable food donations will go to Community Action Partnership-Minot Region to restock local food pantries.
Thor Lodge Sons of Norway will have a bake sale, luncheon of shredded beef sandwiches or knephla soup, a pie and ice cream social, Grandma’s Attic and book sale: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Scandinavian Heritage Association building, 1020 S. Broadway. lower level.
Free weekly soup kitchen (breakfast): 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Congregational United Church of Christ basement, east door, 430 N. Broadway.
The annual Santa Rides A Harley event fundraiser: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Roughrider Harley-Davidson, 515-20th Ave. SE. People may have their photograph taken with Santa on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Photographs will be taken by 360 Digitography of Minot. The suggested donation is $5 with the money to go to the Salvation Army Food Bank. Photographed children may enter a drawing for two bicycles that will be given away. The Minot Fire Deptartment and the Minot Police Department’s Crime Prevention Unit will provide safety information and handouts. Child fingerprinting will also be available. This event is sponsored by the Minot Chapter Harley Owners Group.
The 23rd Annual Mohall Craft Show will be Nov. 20 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Mohall School. People should use the east door. The craft show is sponsored by the Mohall Chamber of Commerce. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission will be $1 except for those ages 6 and younger, who will be admitted for free. Day-care services will be provided.
Craft, vendor and bake sales will be held in Parshall: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Parshall American Legion Building. The bake sales will be held by area churches. A luncheon of soup or chili in a bread bowl will be served. There will be prize drawings at 2:30 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Parshall Promoters.
The Dunseith Community Nursing Home Caring Hearts Auxiliary will host its annual fundraising event, Toy Bingo: 1 p.m., Dunseith City Hall. Proceeds will go toward Christmas gifts and/or furniture and equipment for the nursing home. Donations may also be sent to the nursing home at P.O. Box 669, Dunseith, ND 58329.
The Minot Area Theatrical Society will present three one-act plays in “An Evening of One-Acts.” Admission is free. Proceeds from a freewill donation benefit the Jan Nelson family of Minot: Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m., Vegas Motel, Minot. Reservations are not required.
Minot State University’s International Night: 7 p.m., MSU’s Ann Nicole Nelson Hall. International Night is sponsored by the MSU International Student Organization with the intent to raise cultural awareness and encourage cross-cultural dialogue on campus and in the Minot community. Activities will include a fashion show, food from various countries, music and dance. Proceeds from the evening’s raffle will go the Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch in Minot. This event is free and open to the public.
The Nodakords’ 43rd Annual Harvest of Harmony concert: 7:30 p.m., Sleep Inn and Suites, adjacent to Dakota Square Mall. Admission is $12 at the door or $10 with a discount coupon available from Nodakords sponsors. Children ages 12 and younger may attend for free.Also performing will be Dakota Blend; guest quartet McPhly, from the Denver area; and the Change of Pace Singers from Minot High School-Magic City Campus.
